This project involved the complete transformation of a neglected Georgian-style home in one of Dublin’s most prestigious neighborhoods. Once a decayed architectural gem, the property required a meticulous full-scale renovation to restore its former grandeur while adapting it to modern living standards.

Nook undertook every aspect of the project, from architectural design choices to the finest interior details. The design honored the home’s historical roots, preserving key Georgian features like the sash windows, fireplaces, and intricate cornicing, while seamlessly restoring parts that needed uplift, such as the floor and doors, kitchen and bathroom, integrating contemporary functionality.

We reimagined the layout to enhance flow and natural light, selected premium flooring materials, and specified custom-designed doors to harmonize with the building's architectural heritage. The lighting design combined ambient, task, and accent layers to create an inviting atmosphere, while the choice of all details including sockets, switches and door handles were considered to ensure aesthetic coherence.

We curated a sophisticated palette of furniture and finishes for the furnishing, blending classic and contemporary elements. From plush upholstery to bespoke cabinetry, every detail was chosen to elevate the elegance of the space. The final layer of styling introduced refined touches—artwork, textiles, and accessories—that brought warmth and character to the home, celebrating its rebirth as a timeless yet livable space.
