In Dublin's prestigious Ballsbridge, we undertook a comprehensive interior design and project management of a distinguished Georgian residence needing full renovation. Our role encompassed everything from initial concepts to final styling, collaborating closely with a contractor to revitalize this historically significant apartment. The Challenge: Bridging History and Modernity in a Compact Space

The challenge lay in respecting the apartment's elegant Georgian origins – its sash windows, fireplaces, and cornicing – while modernizing key areas like the flooring, kitchen, and bathroom within a relatively small footprint. Enhancing spatial flow and natural light, particularly between the living room and kitchen, was crucial. The client desired a sophisticated yet comfortable interior, incorporating personal preferences with intelligent storage solutions, all while maintaining a cohesive and elevated design.

Our design meticulously restored original Georgian elements while introducing clean, contemporary interventions. Premium flooring and custom doors were selected to complement the heritage. Reimagining the living room-kitchen connection improved flow and light. A sophisticated palette of colour, texture, and finishes was curated, blending classic hues with modern accents. Even small details like hardware were carefully chosen for coherence. Furnishings combined classic and contemporary styles, offering elegance and practical storage. Curated artwork and textiles added personality and depth.
